Counselling

Brighton & Hove

Life can be hard at times. You might be feeling overwhelmed. Or you might have lost your sense of connection and purpose in life. I offer a supportive relationship where you can talk through your challenges. It could be a difficult life situation, or how you feel day to day. Counselling is a space for you, and we can explore what you need together.

The idea of seeking help can be daunting, but I work with openness and empathy, and hope to ease any anxieties about starting counselling.

About me

Hi - I’m Rob. I’m a humanistic counsellor in Hove. I work with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and low self-esteem. I also work regularly with LGBTQ+ clients.

I’ve always had a curiosity about human experience and how we come to be the way we are, and decided to train as a counsellor to help others through my work. I work in private practice and the charity sector, and I’m a registered member of the BACP.

“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can’t survive” (Brene Brown)
